Oxford Architect's project:
The Oxford client requirement was a two storey extension that had to match the existing house together with some refurbishment of the original house.
One of the major considerations was a tree preservation order on the adjacent lime tree which was solved by utilising a raft foundation design. The result has been a huge success with the underfloor heating and the better insulation in the extension making it the most lived in part of the property.
